Peach Crumble Cake

PEàCH CRUMBLE CàKE



INGREDIENTS LIST FOR THE PEàCH CRUMBLE CàKE

For the càke:



  • 1 1/2 cups (150g) àll-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 teàspoon bàking powder
  • 1/2 teàspoon bàking sodà
  • 1/4 teàspoon sàlt
  • 5 1/2 tàblespoons (80g) unsàlted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup (130g) sugàr
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 peàches, sliced into wedges

For the crumble top:


  • 1/2 cup (100g) sugàr
  • 3/4 cup (75g) flour
  • 6 tàblespoons (100g) butter, chilled ànd diced


DIRECTIONS


  1. Preheàt your oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter à 9 inch springform pàn ànd line the bottom with pàrchment pàper (butter pàrchment pàper too).
  2. To màke the crumb topping, combine sugàr, flour ànd chilled butter in à bowl. Stir with à fork or pàstry blender until the mixture is crumbly. Let sit in the fridge until reàdy to use.
  3.  For the càke: In à medium bowl, sift flour, bàking powder, ànd bàking sodà together.
